THE THATCH
This 400year old public house has had very little changes to it over the years, remarkably having electricity installed only a few years ago! It is a building that appears to be kept alive by its place in the heart of the community and having a drink here gives a real sense that history is still being created. It can be found in Cloneen, Southern Tipperary, Ireland.

The Thatch has retained so many of its original features our aim was to preserve and protect what was already there. We used old lime washing techniques for the stone walls and applied shellac to the woodwork.
